Itch

The itch or Jück was a square measure in the Duchy of Oldenburg , in particular a Ackermaß. The term is identical with quarter rod. There was an old one that corresponded to 400 square feet and a new one with only 324 square feet.

According to the old measure, 356 itches or whips were a morning . 59 ⅓ itch corresponded to 1 dog .

In different places 1 itch had 160 square feet, but according to the Calenberg measure. 19 7/9 itch was compared to sowing a bushel of oats.
