Judah II

Judah II. (~ 235–250), also Judah Nesi'a (רבי יהודה נשיאה), was a Jewish patriarch .

Judah II or Yehuda II belonged to the first generation (approx. 230–250 AD) of the Amorae in Palestine.

He was a student and grandson of Yehuda ha-Nasi and the son and successor of Gamaliel III. as nasi . Juda II is also known as Juda Nesi'a or Rabbi , but can be distinguished from his grandfather Juda I (Jehuda ha-Nasi = Rabbi).

However, Judah III is also referred to as Judah Nesi'a .
