Judith Karl is a US UN civil servant and has headed the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) since 2014 .

Judith Karl studied from 1978 to 1982 at Columbia University in New York , where she graduated with a BA . After working as a management consultant in the private banking and real estate sectors, she completed an MA at New York University from 1989 to 1991 .

Career

Judith Karl joined the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in 1992, where she initially oversaw projects in Mali and Cambodia for local development finance, decentralization, the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, and mine clearance . In 2001 she became an assistant director in the UNDP's Washington Liaison Office.
