Judith of Carinthia
Judith († 991 ) was Duchess of Carinthia .
She was possibly a daughter of Count Heinrich von Bayern, a son of Duke Arnulf the Evil . As wife Otto I of Carinthia († 1004) she became Duchess of Carinthia. She was the mother of Pope Gregory V and grandmother of Emperor Conrad II .
She was buried in Worms Cathedral .
She had four sons with Otto:
- Heinrich von Worms († 989/1000), Count in Wormsgau, ∞ Adelheid († probably 1039/1046), sister of Count Adalbert and Gerhard from the House of Matfride
- Bruno (* 972; † 999), became Pope Gregory V.
- Konrad von Kärnten († 1011), Duke of Carinthia, ∞ around 1002 Mathilde von Schwaben (* probably 988; † 1031/1032), daughter of Duke Hermann II of Swabia from the family of the Conradines
- Wilhelm († 1047), from 1028 or 1029 Bishop of Strasbourg
