Judith von Pihartingen

Judith von Pihartingen († December 1, around 1130 ) was the widow of Noble Tageo von Pihartingen, who founded the Beyharting monastery around 1130 .

In the former monastery church of St. Johann Baptist , the cover plate of the former high grave for Judith von Pihartingen from the late Gothic period, which is now set as an epitaph in the north wall of the vestibule, has been preserved. The donor is shown with a model of the Romanesque church on the red marble slab .
