The Judo Bundesliga 2018 was the 62nd season in the history of the Judo Bundesliga and began on April 7, 2018.

After the Hamburg judo team won the title in 2016 and 2017, the title hat trick succeeded in the following year with the third championship in a row. In the final, the team prevailed 11: 3 against TSV Abensberg. The bronze medals were won by the judo teams in Holle and TSV Großhadern.

Due to the league restructuring decided the year before, there were no relegated members and three direct promoters in both seasons in 2018. In the southern season there were even four promoted teams, as the team from JC Ettlingen withdrew from the league after the 2017 season. For the teams from GJC Bonn , JC Samurai Offenbach and JT Heidelberg-Mannheim it was the first promotion to the first judo league. Other promoters were TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen , TSV Hertha Walheim , JSV Speyer and TV 1848 Erlangen .

After the end of the season, TSV München Großhadern and the Lower Saxony team from Holle announced the withdrawal of their teams from the Bundesliga. The decisions were made for financial reasons. The funds required for league operations are invested in other judo projects.
