1st National League

In 2003, the 1st team of the UJKC celebrated promotion to the highest German fighting class, the 1st German Judo League , for the first time . This was only possible through athletes who had learned judo in their own club, such as Silvio Paul, Karsten Kaletta or Rene and Mario Schendel.

Since then, the team has been able to establish itself in the league and has been fighting there continuously since 2004. The greatest successes of the team are the 3rd places from 2007, 2011 and 2012. In 2013, the team failed in the quarter-final play-off at JC Leipzig only because of the poorer undervaluation with 13:13 (77:90) after they finished 2nd in the northern relay in the preliminary round. The 2014 season was marked by upheaval and injury-related absences. So Igor Wandtke (-73 kg) had to be handed over to TSV München Großhadern and heavyweight Robert Zimmermann was unable to play in the Bundesliga due to a protracted knee injury. The team reached 5th place in the preliminary round, prevailed in the relegation against JC 66 Bottrop and thus secured relegation. In 2015 , team captain Robert Zimmermann switched to league rivals Hamburger JT , but the team was able to distance itself from the relegation battle and came third in the preliminary round. In the play-off fights, the team then narrowly failed with 15:13 at the eventual champions TSV Munich Großhadern. In the Bundesliga season 2016 , the team failed again in the quarter-finals at TSV Munich Großhadern after the preliminary round was finished in second place.

The current service providers are u. a. Women

In the following years, the team around Yvonne Bönisch, Antje Lehmann, Toni Becker, Claudia Mahlzahn, Heide Wollert and others dominated. a. the league and was always involved in the award of titles. In 2005 they won the German championship for the first time. This success was repeated in 2007 and 2008. In 2006 they became runner-up again.

A special highlight was the 2nd place at the European championships for teams in 2006 in front of a home crowd in the sports hall on Heinrich-Mann-Allee.

In 2009 and 2010 they fought again for the championship title, winning silver after a final, which only ended in extra time with 5: 4 in favor of PSG Dynamo Brandenburg and bronze.
