Judy Weiss (born May 31, 1972 in Berlin , real name Judith Tudorica ) is a German singer .

Life

Judy Weiss had her first piano lessons at the age of six. She attended a music school for piano and singing for eight years and then the “Hanns Eisler” Berlin Music Academy .

In 1994 Weiss played her first musical role as Anita in West Side Story . In 1995 she starred in Beauty and the Beast . She also played in the Berlin musical Space Dream as Macchina and in The Hunchback of Notre-Dame as Esmeralda. In 1995 she recorded the Swiss number one hit Vivo per lei with Andrea Bocelli - I live for her and sang several times with the jazz pianist Maria Baptist , who is also involved in the Firstfriday project organized by Weiss . The event takes place once a month in Berlin. Various guests play with Weiss and Maria Baptist.

On May 16, 2008, after a long break, their maxi CD Just Because I Love You was released on the Gloriella Music label by Jack White . On December 12, 2008, the maxi CD Music Was My First Love, also produced by Jack White , was a remake of the John Miles classic Music .

Judy Weiss has a daughter who was born in November 2000.
