Jueyuan Temple

The Jueyuan Temple ( Chinese  觉 苑 寺 , Pinyin Jiàoyuàn sì , English Jueyuan Temple ) is a Buddhist temple in the Wulian community (武 连 连) of Jiange County in the prefecture of Guangyuan in the north of the southwest Chinese province of Sichuan . It dates from the Tang Dynasty and is famous for the Buddhist murals in its main hall from the Ming Dynasty . Scenes from the life of Sakyamuni are shown on over 200 square meters .

The Jueyuan Temple has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (5-387) since 2001 .
