World youth championships in boxing
The AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships (English: Youth World Boxing Championships) has been around since 2008. They are from the AIBA organized and held every two years. Eligible are male boxers between the ages of 17 and 19.
The Youth World Championships replace the old Junior World Championships which were held almost regularly every two years from 1979 to 2006 (the new Junior World Championships in turn replace the Cadet World Championships ).
