Youth of the Croatian Democratic Union
The youth of the Croatian Democratic Union ( Croat . Mladež Hrvatske demokratske zajednice , MHDZ for short ) is the youth organization of the Croatian conservative party Croatian Democratic Union .
The MHDZ was founded on September 13, 1990 and has the status of a sub-organization in the parent party without legal personality . Any HDZ member between the ages of 18 and 30, as well as young people between the ages of 17 and 18, can become a member of the MHDZ.
It is organized nationwide in Croatia and has foreign organizations in the Croatian diaspora , etc. a. also in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. At the European level, she is a full member of the youth of the European People's Party (YEPP) and the Democrat Youth Community of Europe (DEMYC). It is also a member of the international umbrella organization International Young Democrat Union (IYDU).
