Democrat Youth Community of Europe

The Democrat Youth Community of Europe (DEMYC, German: Democratic Youth Community of Europe ) is an international umbrella organization of youth organizations of Christian democratic, conservative and like-minded parties in Europe.

The young generation in the SVP (South Tyrol) is the only German-speaking youth organization in the DEMYC.

The aim of DEMYC is to promote contacts and expand cooperation between its member organizations from different European countries and thereby contribute to the United Europe.

Different seminars are held every year in different parts of Europe. During these meetings in the past years the following topics were discussed: The new democracies in Central and Eastern Europe and their path in the future common Europe, the European Union and its development towards a united Europe, the North-South dialogue, the environment - and labor policy, the future of the prosperous state, the consequences of the introduction of new technologies and much more.

DEMYC is a member of the International Young Democrat Union (IYDU), the youth organization of the International Democratic Union (IDU).
