Xiangyang ( Chinese  向阳区 ) is a district of the prefecture-level city Jiamusi in northeast China province of Heilongjiang . It has an area of ​​38 km² and in 2014 had around 234,000 inhabitants in 72,241 households. The 2000 population census showed a total population of 113,414 people in 32,801 households, 55,075 of whom were men and 58,339 women.

Xiangyang is practically the center of the urban area of ​​Jiamusi. The economic output in 2016 was about 4.2 billion yuan , 79% of which came from the service sector.

Administrative structure

At the municipal level, the city district was made up of six street districts at the end of 2018 . These are Xilin (西林 街道), Baowei (保卫 街道), Qiaonan (桥南 街道), Xinangang (西南 岗 街道), Jianshe (建设 街道) and Chang'an (长安街 道).
