from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In youth agencies advise experienced social workers youths in all youth-related issues and refer them if necessary to specialized counseling centers.

There are youth agencies in all 44 urban and rural districts in Baden-Württemberg . These regional institutions are attached to the municipal administration and network all youth work institutions in the respective district. The regional youth agencies have existed since the late 1990s. They were set up by the Baden-Württemberg Youth Foundation as part of the innovation program of the State of Baden-Württemberg.

Transition from school to work

The youth agencies operate regionally and see themselves as a network structure in the transition from school to work. A particularly important field of work is advising young people and their parents on the transition from school to work . Therefore, the youth agencies have a lot of experience in the networking of young people or students and companies. The youth agencies should form an interface between youth work, schools, business and state institutions / programs.
