The youth choir Koča Kolarov from Zrenjanin ( Serbia ) was founded in 1966. Since Mirko Bulovan took over its direction in 1970, the choir has regularly participated in festivals and competitions. In 1979, 1981 and 1983 he won the title of Yugoslav master of youth choirs. The choir also took part in festivals abroad.

Koča Kolarov brought home several first prizes from concert tours to Italy , Austria , Hungary , Romania , Greece , France , Germany , Belgium , the Netherlands , Russia , Portugal and Spain . In addition to the competition program, the youth choir regularly studied large works with an orchestra, such as B. The High Mass by JS Bach , the Requiem in C minor (Cherubini) and a Missa Brevis by WA Mozart .

In May 2004 the choir took part in the EJCF in Basel .
