The Youth Union (JU) is the youth organization of the Christian-Social Party Patriotic Union (VU) in Liechtenstein . Alongside the Senior Citizens' Union and the Women's Union, it is one of the three sub-organizations in the Patriotic Union.

The youth union is a member of the Junge Alpenregion , an umbrella organization of youth organizations of Christian-conservative parties in Bavaria, Austria, South Tyrol, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Slovenia.

history

It was founded in the mid-1960s. The first president was Adolf Heeb . Already in the state elections in 1970 , the JU was able to nominate Wolfgang Feger, a candidate for the state parliament who was elected deputy member .

The reactivation took place in October 2010 after a two-year break. A new board was appointed at the general assembly on October 29, 2010.

On March 10, 2018, a new board took over the helm.
