Jujia biyong shilei quanji

The Chinese book Jujia biyong shilei quanji ( Chinese  居家 必 用事 类 全集  - “ Complete collection of important household skills ”) has been published anonymously. This work is cited repeatedly in the Yongle encyclopedia from the beginning of the Yongle government period (1402–1424) of the Ming dynasty . Therefore, its completion is dated around the end of the Mongolian rule of the Yuan dynasty .

The entire work comprises ten volumes (juan), it is divided according to the ten heavenly tribes (Chinese 天干 tiāngān). The sixth (jǐjí 己 集) and seventh (gēngjí 庚 集) sections contain materials on the history of Chinese eating and drinking culture and are very valuable for understanding the eating and drinking culture of the various ethnic groups during the Mongol period. Most of it was later used in the work Duo neng bi shi (多 能 鄙 事; "Routine jobs made easy") by Liu Ji刘 基 (1311-1375), an early Ming dynasty official who was also an important one Source for the history of the Chinese food and drink culture.

A photolithographic reprint of a wood plate print from the Jiajing government epoch of the Ming period was published in Beijing in 1988 as volume 61 of the Beijing tushuguan guji zhenben congkan book series . The book is also included in the Chugoku shokkei sosho and Zhongguo pengren guji congkan book series on Chinese food and drink culture.
