Julia Axen

Julia Axen , actually Christa Lubbe (born March 19, 1937 in Birkenwerder ), is a German pop and chanson singer.

Axen began her singing career at the age of 17 and recorded her first records with Polydor in the western part of Berlin. The singer , who was inspired to create her stage name by a film role by Marika Rökk, has celebrated her great successes in East Berlin since the late 1950s. Heinz Schultze , with whom she was married for the first time from 1955, played a decisive role in her career . In 1955 she hosted the radio program Per Draht asked .

Their successful days came to an end in the 1970s. Since then she has increasingly appeared as a chanson interpreter.

Julia Axen, who celebrated her 50th media anniversary in 2005, was married three times and lives in Berlin-Rahnsdorf (district Hessenwinkel) .
