Julia Leischik

Julia Anne Leischik (born October 14, 1970 in Cologne ) is a German editor and television presenter . She became known through the television series Missing .

Life

Julia Leischik grew up in Cham , but has lived in Cologne, the city of her birth, since 1991.

From autumn 1998 to summer 1999 she was an editor in the Talk section at the Voice Company. She then switched to filmpool film and television production , where she was involved in developing documentary fiction formats and court programs on German television. Until 2003, Leischik worked as editor-in-chief and producer, among other things .

In autumn 2003 she went to Endemol Deutschland GmbH , where she co-developed and moderated the program Missing . Since the beginning of 2010 she has also been Executive Producer of Vermisst . From January to mid-2011 she hosted the format Verzeih mir , which was broadcast on Sundays at 7:05 pm and which was similar in concept to Missing .

At the beginning of the 2011/2012 season, Leischik switched to Sat.1 with an exclusive contract . There she is the face of the format Julia Leischik is looking for: Please get in touch . At Sat.1 she also moderated two issues of the series Zeugen sucht - with Julia Leischik , whose concept is based on file number XY .

In the program presentation for the 2013/2014 TV season, it was announced that Leischik will be hosting the reality show At your side on Sat.1. The project was later canceled by Leischik due to lack of time.

Since February 14, 2016, Leischik has moderated the new edition of Verzeih mir on Sat.1.

Leischik extended her exclusive contract with Sat.1 for another three years: until 2019 she will only be seen on the Sat.1 channel.

Julia Leischik is the mother of one daughter.
