Julian Alexander Hardinge, 4th Baron Hardinge of Penshurst (born August 23, 1945 ) is a British peer and politician .

Life

Hardinge was born to George Hardinge, 3rd Baron Hardinge of Penshurst , and Janet Christine Goschen Balfour (1923-1970).

On July 14, 1997, he inherited his father's title. In 1998 and 1999 he took part in discussions in the House of Lords on several occasions . Hardinge lost his seat there through the House of Lords Act 1999 .

Since he has no sons, his brother, Hugh Francis Hardinge (* 1948) is the alleged heir to his title ( Heir Presumptive ).
