Julian of Tarsus

Julian of Tarsus (* in Cilicia ; † in the 4th or 5th century ) was a Christian martyr .

Julian was tormented in various ways by the governor Marcian of Tarsus . For example, he was put to “wild animals” . Julian von Tarsus found the end of his life when the governor put him in a sack of sand and then let it sink into the sea.

The Orthodox Memorial Day is June 21st .
