Juliana Hatfield (born July 27, 1967 in Wiscasset , Maine ) is an American rock musician. She plays the guitar and writes her own songs.

Career

Hatfield was part of the indie rock band Blake Babies and played in the band Some Girls from 2001 after they broke up . She is also pursuing a solo career. In 2013, the result of a collaboration with Matthew Caws ( Nada Surf ) appeared under the project name “Minor Alps” .

Juliana Hatfield is the daughter of Julie Hatfield, the fashion critic of the Boston Globes .
