Dickfeld's slim cichlid ( Julidochromis dickfeldi ) is a species of African cichlid that has so far only been found in the southwestern part of Lake Tanganyika in Zambia . Here the animals live over stony or rocky ground at depths of up to 35 meters. They use caves and crevices to hide and lay their eggs. The diet consists mainly of small crustaceans.

The animals reach a size of up to 11 cm, the basic color of the body is beige. On the side there are three horizontal, black lines which, depending on the copy, can be continuous or interrupted. The unpaired fins can have blue iridescent hems or dot patterns. Blue iridescent drawings can also be found under the eyes, on the gill covers and on the sides.
