Julie Bell (born September 20, 1958 in Beaumont , Texas , USA ) is an illustrator and bodybuilder .

The American was initially a bodybuilder before turning to fantasy painting. Together with her husband Boris Vallejo , she is one of the big names in the industry. Her motifs are mostly people whose skin appears metallic, steel-colored and yet soft . This effect is their unmistakable trademark. Her works are published in book form, as calendars, posters, trading cards and in other product forms.
