Julien Mazet
Julien Mazet (born March 19, 1981 in Villeneuve-sur-Lot ) is a former French cyclist .
Athletic career
Julien Mazet's father was Guy Mazet, a farmer and fruit trader who was the Auvergne road master four times in the early 1970s . The son Julien came in 2002 in the farm team of Crédit Agricole . In his second year there, he won the Le Transalsace International and the French time trial championship in the U23 class . The following year he won two stages in the Giro della Valle d'Aosta . In 2005 he switched to the French Continental Team Auber 93 , where he was able to write a stage of the Tour de la Manche on his account.
Mazet ended his professional career in 2010, but continued to race as an amateur. He and his wife started an agricultural project in the Ardèche . Julien Mazet's nephew, Corentin Salles , is also an active cyclist.
