Julija Sergejewna Peressild ( Russian Юлия Сергеевна Пересильд ; born September 5, 1984 in Pskow ) is a Russian actress . She has appeared in around 30 films since 2003.

Life

In 2002 Julija Peressild was admitted to the Russian Academy of Theater Arts and trained by Oleg Kudrjaschow .

She became known through the Alexei Utschitel's film drama Krai (2010). Although the film was poorly received by the general public, it received positive reviews and the actress won two Russian film awards ( The White Elephant and The Golden Eagle ) for Best Supporting Actress.

Other important steps in her career were her lead roles in the drama Alice Forever (2008), the comedy Santa Lucia (2012) and the fantasy thriller Sundew (2012).

In March 2013, Peressild received the Russian President's Prize for Young Artists.
