Julio Nudler

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Julio Nudler (born December 16, 1941 , † July 27, 2005 ) was an Argentine business journalist .

Nudler initially wrote for the newspapers La Opinión , Clarín and La Razón before becoming head of the economic department at the daily Página / 12 in 1990 .

In 2004, Nudler wrote an article in which he raised allegations of corruption against Alberto Fernández , the then cabinet head of the President Néstor Kirchner (and Argentine President since 2019). However, the Directory of Página / 12 refused to publish this article. Nudler condemned this procedure as censorship and also accused his colleague Horacio Verbitsky , who tried to invalidate Nudler's article in a censored version, of wanting to protect the government.
