Julius Bernstein hypothesis

The Julius Bernstein Hypothesis was proposed by Julius Bernstein in 1868 . It affects the electrical membrane potential and is still the paradigm of predominant scientific medicine today . In summary, the Julius Bernstein hypothesis states that the membranes of the neurons allow positive ions into the cell interior , while the negatively charged particles remain in the extracellular fluid.
