Julius Caspar

Julius Caspar ( 1823 - August 13, 1863 in Hamburg ) was a German theater actor .

Life

Caspar began his stage career in Riga in 1844, where he played comical teenagers and nature boys, came to Königsberg in 1845 and to Cologne in 1847, where he stayed for two years. In 1850 the artist was committed to the Hamburg Thaliatheater , where he made his debut as "Pfeffer", "Fritz Flott" and "Peter Lütje" and worked until 1857. He went blind at the age of 34. The last time he appeared on October 15, 1857 in the Vaudeville Benjamin, who is looking for his father . He died in Hamburg on August 13, 1863.
