Julius Gustav Ferdinand Kummer (born August 8, 1804 in Langfuhr , † after 1875) was a Prussian administrative lawyer.

Life

Julius Kummer was born as the son of the Prussian district judge and judge in Gdansk, Franz Gustav Leberecht Kummer. After attending grammar school in Danzig, he studied at the University of Bonn, where he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn in 1826 . After graduating, he entered the civil service. In 1833 he was a government assessor in Danzig. In 1840 he became district administrator in Schlochau . From 1847 to 1856 he was a councilor in Gumbinnen. In 1858 he moved to Potsdam as such.
