Julius of Caerleon

Julius von Caerleon was an English martyr . He was murdered in 303 or 304 in Quadra Legionum (today's Caerleon ) together with Aaron von Caerleon in the course of the persecution of Christians under Diocletian . The source for martyrdom is De Excidio Britonum by Gildas . Remembrance day is June 22nd .
