Jung Ba-ra ( Korean 정 바라 ; born June 13, 1989 ) is a South Korean short tracker .

Jung celebrated her first successes at the Korean Winter Games, where she was able to win over 1000 meters, and at student championships. She made her international debut in the Short Track World Cup in 2008/09 and reached the podium in second place over 1500 meters in her first World Cup race on October 17, 2008 in Salt Lake City . The winner in this race was the Chinese Zhou Yang . In her second race, now over the 1000 m distance, Jung narrowly missed the podium as fourth in Vancouver .

She studies at DanKook University .
