Young dog shear

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The young dog shearing (also puppy shearing, second puppy clip ) is a type of shearing for dogs .

The hair on the head is held together with a so-called "topknot" and coiffed into a kind of lion shear.

In exhibitions , most are poodles shown in this Schurart since it is preferred by the majority of judges. Since the hair on the head has to be very long and requires a lot of care (it is usually braided into pigtails outside of the shows ), some breeders show their dog in the young dog shearing, but the crown is cut short, which is tolerated by the show judges.
