Jupp Weindich

Jupp Weindich , actually Josef Adolf Weindich (born April 16, 1932 in Oppeln , † March 6, 2013 in Neustrelitz ) was a German author, opera director and theater director . He always published as Jupp Weindich .

Life

Jupp Weindlich passed his state examination as an opera director in 1955 and worked as a director of the music theater in Stralsund . Later he was senior director of the music theater in Brandenburg . He then spent nine years as a "development director", head of the studio and director of the Berlin State Opera . From 1968 he was director of the Friedrich Wolf Theater Neustrelitz for 23 years . He completed a distance learning course in cultural studies at the Humboldt University in Berlin and graduated with a diploma.

Jupp Weindich was married and the father of Urte Weindich.
