Jurassic halls

The Jura Halls in Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate form an event complex that can be used for concerts , theater , trade fairs and congresses . The complex is located on the Volksfestplatz and consists of the Great Jura Hall and the Small Jura Hall .

Both halls were built in 1981 as wooden structures. The Great Jura Hall has an area of ​​2500 square meters and can accommodate a maximum of 3500 people, while the Small Jura Hall can accommodate a maximum of 1400 people on 1500 square meters. The two halls are connected by a supply wing, which also houses cold storage rooms and a kitchen. Both halls have toilets, serving points and artists' changing rooms. There is a large car park adjacent to the halls, and additional parking spaces can also be set up on the fairground.

During the Neumarkter Jura Folk Festival and the Spring Festival, the halls are used as festival halls. The Neumarkt Passion Play is also performed here.
