Jurgen Van Goolen (born November 28, 1980 in Leuven ) is a former Belgian cyclist .

Jurgen Van Goolen took several victories as a U23 driver. In the 2000 season he won the Grand Prix Tell , Liège – Bastogne – Liège and the Belgian U23 time trial championship. He defended the Belgian title the following year. In 2002 he became a professional with the Domo-Farm Frites cycling team . The following year he moved to Quick Step , where he drove for three years. In 2006 and 2007 Van Goolen drove for the US ProTeam Discovery Channel . On the fifth stage of the Tour de Suisse 2006 he almost achieved his first professional victory. The Swiss stage winner Steve Morabito was just a tad stronger than him. In 2008 Van Goolen drove for Team CSC (since 2009 as Team Saxo Bank ).

He ended his career at the end of the 2013 season.

In 2018 he won the Gran Fondo World Championship in Vareseie in the 35-39 year old class.
