Jurgis Krasnickas
Jurgis Krasnickas (born April 16, 1957 in Kolonistai , Alytus Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian politician, former mayor of the municipality of Alytus .
Life
After graduating from the Simnas Middle School with distinction in 1975 , he graduated with distinction from the Kaunas technical vocational school (No. 23) as a cinema mechanic and, in 1984, studied at the Kauno medicinos institutas as a pediatrician . From 1977 to 1978 he worked in the "Atžalynas" collective farm as a worker and from 1984 in the Alytus hospital , from 1986 as ordinator, from 1987 to 1995 as head of the children's department and reanimatologist.
From 1995 to 1999 Krasnickas was ministerial advisor at the Ministry of Health of Lithuania , from 1999 to 2006 head of the health department of Alytus District . From 2006 he was director of the Alytus Hospital . since 1990 member of the Alytus City Council. From 2012 to 2015 he was mayor of Alytus ( replacing Feliksas Džiautas ).
Krasnickas has been a member of LSDP since 1995 .
Krasnickas is married and has four children.
