Yuri Mikhailovich Ilyasov
Juri Michailowitsch Iljassow ( Russian Юрий Михайлович Илясов , English transcription Yuriy Ilyasov; born November 13, 1926 , † December 26, 2005 ) was a Soviet high jumper .
In 1949 he won the World Festival of Youth and Students . At the European Athletics Championships in Brussels in 1950 he came in eighth and at the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki on 13th place. At the World Festival of Youth and Students in 1953, he won bronze.
In 1948, 1949 and 1953 he became Soviet master.
