Juspa Hahn

Joseph Hahn , called Juspa (* around 1600; † 1637 in Frankfurt am Main ), was a German rabbi .

Joseph Hahn became famous as a chronicler of the Frankfurt Jewish Community at the time of the Fettmilch uprising (1612–1616) through his contemporary depiction of the events in Josif Ometz's work . Joseph lived from the end of the 16th century until 1637. He came from the respected Hahn family , who lived in Frankfurt's Judengasse , was a scholar and worked as a rabbi in the Jewish community in Frankfurt am Main .
