Career

On the twelfth match day of the 2017/18 season Steinkötter made his debut for the first team from Preußen Münster in the 3rd division when he was substituted on in the 76th minute of the 0-1 defeat against Spielvereinigung Unterhaching . During the winter break of the 2017/18 season, he switched to Borussia Mönchengladbach's U19 team , after scoring 14 goals in 13 games in the A-Junior Bundesliga .
