Justinas Sigitas Pečkaitis

Justinas Sigitas Pečkaitis (born October 13, 1946 in Apirbiškiai , Rajon Šakiai , Lithuania ) is a Lithuanian criminal lawyer , professor and prorector of the Mykolas Romeris University .

biography

After graduating from the Sintautai Middle School in 1966 and after serving in the Soviet Army, Pečkaitis studied from 1969 to 1974 (with distinction) Vilnius University and from 1975 to 1978 the postgraduate degree . In October 1979 he received his doctorate at the University of Leningrad as a candidate in law on the subject of "Tarybų Lietuvos baudžiamosios teisės kūrimas ir vystymasis socialistinės visuomenės sąlygomis".

Since 1994 he has been a professor at the Mykolas Romeris University and Vice Rector (from 1991). He was a university professor at the Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas (in SS 1998/1999).
