Juta (unit)

The Juta , only Jut was a measure of length in the Kingdom of Siam . It is comparable in size to a mile .

1 juta = 100 sen = 2000 threads = 8000 cubits / cobits = 16,000 spans = 192,000 finger widths = about 3900 meters

The thread was the determining and more common measure. It could be divided into halves and quarters, etc.

1 thread = 6.5 feet = 878 Paris lines = 1.95 meters
