Jutta Geß
Jutta Geß (born January 12, 1955 in Memmingen ) is a German ceramist and artisan .
From 1974 to 1977 she trained as a psychiatric nurse. From 1977 to 1980 she worked in psychotherapeutic clinics. From 1980 to 1983 she learned the ceramics trade with Markus Meerson in the pottery Weininger Keramik GmbH in Weiningen , Switzerland . There she passed her journeyman's examination in 1983. She worked for Peter Berger in the Fuchs pottery in Delmenhorst from 1983 to 1985.
Since 1985, she and her husband Hans Ulrich Geß have had their own workshop in Bad Karlshafen . She teaches ceramics at the adult education center in Bad Karlshafen. She produces handcrafted pottery in stoneware.
