Jytte Apel is a Canadian biathlete .

Jytte Apel took part in the Winter Universiade 2005 in Innsbruck . She finished 32nd in the individual, 45 in the sprint, 39 in the pursuit and reached seventh place with the Canadian relay. In the 2007/08 and 2008/09 seasons, she finished 16th in the overall ranking of the Biathlon NorAm Cup . Apel achieved a first podium when she finished second behind Angela Salvi in Canmore in the 2009/10 season . Two more podium finishes followed in La Patrie . The first major event was the North American Championships in the 2008 Summer Biathlon in Canmore. Apel reached the ranks 13 in the individual, 14 in the sprint and 13 in the pursuit in the roller ski competitions.
