Kärra HF

Kärra HF (Kärra Handbollförening, German: Handball club Kärra) is a Swedish handball club from Kärra, a district of Gothenburg .

In 1958 a handball department of the Kärra IF club (Kärra Idrottsförening) was founded. In 1993, the pure handball club Kärra HF emerged from this club. The club has more than 600 members and operates 40 teams. Since the 2006/2007 season, the club's home ground has been the Lillekärr Hallen.

The first women's team rose after the 2008/2009 season from Division 1 to the top Swedish division, the Elitserien . Until the summer of 2011, the team played in the Elitserien. After a season in the Allsvenskan , Kärra HF returned to the Elitserien, to which the team belonged for two seasons. The first men's team plays in the second Swedish league, the Allsvenskan, in 2009/2010.
