The Kórnik Library (Polish Biblioteka Kórnicka ) is one of the most important libraries in Poland , founded in 1826 by Tytus Działyński in the Kórnik Castle . It is currently also one of the five largest libraries in the country and has a collection of 400,000 exhibits (including 30,000 books older than 150 years) and 14,000 manuscripts (including those by Adam Mickiewicz and Juliusz Słowacki ). The Kórnik Library has been part of the Polish National Library since 1953 .
