The Kölnische Höfe, sometimes referred to in literature as the “Pochen Höfe”, was built around 1500. In 1741, two farms are recorded in the Uersfeld church register. The name "Kölnische Höfe" goes back to the former property of the Electorate of Cologne , the name "Pochener Höfe" is derived from the location in the Pochen forest, which was first mentioned in 1052 as "Puthena".

The community bakery at the entrance to the village, also called " Backes ", is a listed building. The quarry stone building was erected in 1923.

From 1985 to 2011, the Baking Festival was celebrated every two years in September at the Kölnische Höfe . Up to 2,000 visitors took part in the festival.
