King Juan Carlos Prize for Economics
The King Juan Carlos Prize for Economics (Spanish: Premio de Economía Rey Juan Carlos) is a science award in economics . The award, which has been presented biennially by the Bank of Spain since 1986, is named after King Juan Carlos I and honors scholars from Spain or Latin America who have made extraordinary contributions to economics.
The prize is endowed with 72,000 euros (as of 2018) .
