Kingdom of Fazughli

The Kingdom of Fazughli was a historic state in what is now Sudan and Ethiopia . According to oral tradition, it was founded by refugees from the Nubian kingdom of Alodia , when its capital Soba was destroyed by Arabs or the Funj around 1500 . It lasted until 1685 before it was incorporated into the Funj Empire .
