The Animoca Brands Corporation is a 2014 Yat Siu based gaming software company and a venture capital company based in Hong Kong . The company develops and sells free-to-play games and apps. The focus is on the licensing of well-known brands , blockchain and artificial intelligence .

The Animoca share is traded on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX: AB1), on NASDAQ , on the open market of the Berlin Stock Exchange , the Stuttgart Stock Exchange and the Munich Stock Exchange.

history

Animoca Brands was founded in Hong Kong in 2014.

In January 2015 Animoca Brands was listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) with the ticker symbol AB1. In February 2015, Animoca reached 116 million downloads of its games. In June 2015, Ourpalm invested $ 3.1 million in shares in Animoca, opening up the Chinese market for it.

In July 2016 Animoca took over Ticbits and with it the game "Crazy Kings" (the predecessor of "Crazy Defense Heroes") for 2.35 million euros.

Kabam co-founder Holly Liu has been a Board Member at Animoca since June 2018 . In October 2018, Ed Fries , founder of Microsoft Game Studio and co-founder of Xbox, was named strategic advisor.

In return, Zeroth receives 6% company shares in return. Zeroth.ai has a partnership with the Incubator and VC DEEPCORE, a company of the SoftBank group.

Fuel Powered
